These itineraries (crafted by a local and 100% doable by public transport!) will guide you through its most iconic spots. So, pack your sunglasses and sunscreen, and get aboard for an unforgettable journey from the chic city of Cannes to the picturesque village of Menton.

Also, booking ahead in France in very busy areas/ busy times is often essential. Walking up to a restaurant in a popular place in the height of the tourist season is likely to be met with "Vous avez une reservation?".

Our top suggestions of places to visit before and after the camp:

THE CALANQUES NATIONAL PARK

The cliffs of the Calanques are a natural wonder nestled between Marseille and Cassis. This unique and breathtaking scenery is an absolute must-see in Marseille!

With pebble and fine sandy beaches, and miniature fjords with turquoise waters, this biodiverse jewel looks just like a postcard! It is the perfect location to sunbathe, explore the seabed, or try yourself at some water sports such as kayaking.

If you’re staying nearby Marseille a couple additional days before or after the camp, we highly recommend spending the day hiking, kayaking or boating to the three famous calanques that are closest to Cassis: Calanque de Port Miou, Calanque de Port Pin and Calanque d’en Vau.
