Terms and Conditions

At CampJoli, we pour our hearts into creating unforgettable experiences for you. As a small, independent business, every reservation means the world to us. From planning logistics to making non-refundable payments in advance, a lot of love, energy, and resources go into making our summer camps extraordinary. That’s why we ask you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your spot. By transferring your deposit, you confirm that you’ve read and agreed to the following:

Reservation Deposit

To secure your place at CampJoli, we require a non-refundable, transferable deposit of 500 EUR. This deposit also counts as a down payment on the total summer camp cost. Your reservation is officially confirmed once we’ve received your deposit or proof of payment.

Remaining Payment

Please set a reminder for your final payment, which is due no later than 60 days before the summer camp begins. If we don’t receive your payment by the deadline, we’ll sadly have to make your spot available to someone else, and your deposit will be forfeited.

Change and Cancellation Policy

More than 60 Days Before the summer camp session

  • You can switch your participation to another summer camp within the same calendar year at no additional cost, provided there’s availability.

  • If you choose to cancel, the 500 EUR deposit is non-refundable, but any remainder you’ve paid will be refunded.

Within 60 Days of the summer camp session

  • Changes are no longer possible.

  • Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made during this period, regardless of the reason.

Travel & Health Insurance

Life happens, and we get it. That’s why we strongly encourage you to have travel insurance that covers cancellations, including those related to illnesses, or other unforeseen events.

When participating in classes, hikes, and workshops, please exercise your best judgment. All activities are undertaken at your own risk. Additionally, if you’re traveling internationally, make sure your health insurance covers medical care and emergency transport home if needed.

No Exceptions, Please

We deeply regret that we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy under any circumstances. This includes (but is not limited to) health conditions, family or work emergencies, weather disruptions, or changes of mind.

If travel issues such as missed, delayed, or canceled flights prevent you from reaching the summer camp, the fees remain non-refundable. Likewise, if you arrive late or leave early, no partial refunds can be provided.

Our Rights

We value harmony during our summer camps. To ensure the best experience for all:

  • We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or harmful, with no refunds provided.

  • Guests will be held liable for any damages to the property, environment, or belongings.

  • We reserve the right to adjust the program, team members, or teachers if necessary.

Limitations of Liability

In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, our liability to you for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us. certain us state laws and international laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. if these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers or limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights.

Privacy Policy

By using the Services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms. Please be advised the Services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from any other region of the world with laws or other requirements governing personal data collection, use, or disclosure that differ from applicable laws in the United States, then through your continued use of the Services, you are transferring your data to the United States, and you expressly consent to have your data transferred to and processed in the United States.

Governing Law

These Legal Terms are governed by and interpreted following the laws of France, and the use of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sales of Goods is expressly excluded. If your habitual residence is in the EU, and you are a consumer, you additionally possess the protection provided to you by obligatory provisions of the law in your country to residence. Camp Joli SAS and yourself both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lyon, which means that you may make a claim to defend your consumer protection rights in regards to these Legal Terms in France, or in the EU country in which you reside.
